// END SCENE //
So we went. The traveling Titanic Artifact Exhibition focused on the "human, personal stories" of the Titanic sinking. While there was a lot left out from the entire Titanic story (having been a half-fanatic when I was 13), it was awesome seeing artifacts that had survived being under 13000 ft of water since 1912.
As a side note...they handed out "Boarding Passes" when you enter the exhibit, actual people who were sailing on the Titanic and a little about their lives: who they were and why they were traveling. They then tell you at the end of the exhibit you can see a memorial of who survived and who was lost. My boarding pass was from a woman traveling in third class to meet her husband who had immigrated to Chicago to find work. Mom's boarding pass was from a woman traveling in first class returning from a European tour...guess which one of us survived?
The only proof we were here. No pictures allowed inside. |
Dinosaurs were not on the Titanic. But they were in NM at one time |
This cracks me up: The Albertosaurus is trying to eat her head, probably because she was laughing at his small arms |
