(I'm walkin with my feet 10 feet off of Beale...)
After multiple cycles through the XM stations we made it to Memphis. Thank you Memphis, for being exactly where you are on the Earth, because if plate tectonics would have moved you 14 more feet down the road we would have given up and slept under a picnic table. We were, to put it mildly, ready to get out of the vehicle.
We were pretty sure an overnight in Memphis calls for BBQ, cold beer, and possibly live music. In fact, we were pretty sure it was the law. So being the responsible, upstanding citizens we are, we obeyed the law and made our way down to Beale Street.

Random Asian dude's bucket list was to sing Johnny Cash in front of a live audience. The guy was amazing. |
